The Anti-Christian UN and Radical Islam

feature photo

I received and email the other day from the ACLJ (The American Center for Law and Justice), about the UN and The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) coming together to make a resolution to outlaw anyone speaking against Muslims.

The resolution is not set out to be a protection for religious rights, but a protection of the religion itself. It’s making a law to protect the religion of Islam against anyone that will oppose it. It’s as if the US would make Christianity the religious law of the nation and anyone who opposes it must pay the price, and in Islam that would be “DEATH”.

What is the OIC

The OIC is the largest Muslim organizations in the world. I’ll give a short rundown of the OIC according to “Wikipedia“.

The Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is an international organization with a permanent delegation to the United Nations. It groups 57 member states, from the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Caucasus, Balkan, Southeast Asia, South Asia and South America.

Since the nineteenth century, Muslims had aspired ideas of uniting their community to serve their common political, economic, and social interests. Despite the presence of secularist, nationalist, and socialist ideologies, in modern Muslim states, King Faysal of Saudi Arabia cooperated with other Muslim leaders to form the Organization of Islamic Conference. The formation of the OIC happened in the backdrop of the loss of Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem. The final cause sufficiently compelled leaders of Muslim nations were to meet in Rabat to establish the OIC in May 1971.

The official flag for the organization is their religious symbol and statement. It has the words “Allah Akbar” which means “Allah Is Great”, of course Allah being their one true god, which has no son!

The flag of the OIC (shown above) has an overall green background (symbolic of Islam). In the center, there is an upward-facing red crescent enveloped in a white disc. On the disc the words “Allahu Akbar” are written in modern Arabic calligraphy.

The ACLJ

The ACLJ is currently fighting against such a proposal that would end up being recognized around the world, and in third world countries would mean the death of thousands of Christians. Here is an excerpt from their email I received:

In Iran, a couple is tortured for reading the Bible. Two men are tried and convicted for possessing Christian books in Algeria.
This is serious. Right now, there is a radical proposal being pushed before the United Nations that will make expressing your faith an international crime.
Speak out for Christianity and you might face the death penalty.

In countries around the world, Christians are under attack as never before.
I could go on. There are examples of a growing global crisis - Christians targeted, facing the harshest of penalties - often death. Why? For simply sharing their faith or even reading a Bible!
And it could very well get worse.
Now, one of the largest organizations inside the United Nations has made a bold move - targeting you.
The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) at the U.N. is pushing a dangerous resolution - making speaking out against Islam … including proclamation of Christianity … an international crime.
It’s an anti-Christian measure and it clearly endorses what’s taking place in many Muslim countries - where those who even speak out about Islam are severely punished with imprisonment and even death.

As you can see from my blog I place many news stories about the persecution of Christians around the world and most of them are from countries where Muslims are either beating or killing those who profess “Jesus” as their Lord and Saviour.

Please take a moment and read the news about this proposal from the ACLJ: ECLJ to U.N. – Protect Religious Beliefs of Individuals
