I found this article on the US News Health web site. With all the news about homosexual marriage and relationships it becomes relevant that we also need to not only discuss the issue of immorality but also the health factors involved.

The report states that the rise from 2001-2006 increased by 12%:

The latest data on HIV infection across 33 states finds new diagnoses jumping by 12 percent annually between 2001 and 2006 among young gay and bisexual men.

Researchers at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) say the rise is “especially concerning” for young black men aged 13 to 24 who have sex with men. For this group, the annual rate of new HIV diagnoses rose by 15 percent annually, compared to a 9 percent and an 8 percent annual rise among their white and Hispanic peers, respectively.

Many different issues arise when questions about adoption of homosexuals may in some way infect the child. What about a homosexual or bi-sexual man changing course and marrying a woman and not only infecting her but possibly a child if pregnancy occurs?

We think that testing would prevent much of this but that is not the case. It’s not like the defense “I tried it but didn’t inhale”, This time it’s “I tried it once and now I’m dead!
